QuickChek is in growth mode, preparing qualified candidates for a current or future Food Service Manager position. The Food Service Manager is an integral part of QuickChek's Fresh Food business.
The role entails ensuring the profitability of the food service and service beverage departments by effectively and efficiently leading a team to deliver Total Customer Dedication to customers. Key responsibilities include achieving sales and profit goals, maintaining control over perishable inventory, and adhering to safety and operating procedures.
Training and Development
This position requires the successful maintenance of high-performance standards during a specified training period, which includes participation in various learning activities and training disciplines designed to prepare for achieving Food Service Manager ready status.
Achieving 'ready' status is essential for consideration for promotion to a Food Service Manager position opening. If requirements are not met following training, there will be a reevaluation and/or a demotion in position and pay.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Prepare and serve high-quality, made-to-order food and beverage items in a timely manner.
- Prepare and stock grab-and-go food and beverage products, including warmer snacks, bakery items, and refrigerated products.
- Maintain and monitor inventory levels of products and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of food service and coffee areas.
- Attend QuickChek University training classes and district food service meetings.
- Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
- Work with Store Manager in achieving sales and profitability goals within department.
- Oversee and delegate tasks to the food service team.
- Train and develop food service associates and specialists.
Qualifications
- 3 years of prior food service experience.
- Some supervisory experience preferred.
- ServSafe certification preferred.
- Willingness to travel to other stores within assigned district and corporate office.
- Ability to work with and lead a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- BASIC computer skills.
- BASIC analytical skills.
- Timely arrival & excellent attendance record.
- Reliable transportation.
