Director, Financial Planning & Analysis
Job Summary:
A leading FinTech company is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. This role will be a critical member of the G&A leadership team, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. The Director will lead the planning, forecasting, and analysis functions of the finance team, have a highly visible role across the organization, and oversee a small team.
Responsibilities:
- Planning: Drive the overall financial planning process, including annual plans, quarterly forecasts, and multi-year projections. Provide expert insights on the full P&L to inform leadership and board decisions.
- Analysis: Develop multi-scenario financial models, conduct analyses to inform strategic planning and growth initiatives, and analyze customer data to drive business improvements.
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders across the organization to measure performance against key metrics. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, highlighting risks and opportunities related to revenue and expense management.
- Reporting: Manage standardized reporting, create business performance dashboards, and deploy new analytics tools as the company grows.
- Treasury and Cash Management: Oversee debt, interest, and cash forecasting, as well as manage the P&L.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong experience with Excel and PowerPoint applications.
- Familiarity with FP&A and BI/analytics tools such as Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Tableau, and Quicksight.
- Demonstrated track record of process improvement and change management.
- Exceptional self-motivation, prioritization, initiative, and integrity.
- Driven by intellectual curiosity and a desire for continuous learning and growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management and investors.
Type: Full-time
Compensation: $185-200K base (DOE) bonus
Location: Menlo Park (hybrid schedule, onsite 2 days/week)
