Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – QUICKmed Urgent Care
QUICKmed Urgent Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to diagnose and treat health conditions, while also promoting wellness and preventive care. As an advanced practice registered nurse, you will play a key role in delivering top-tier patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical examinations and assess patients' health.
- Interpret lab tests and manage patient health.
- Educate patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
- Experience in one of the following Nurse Practitioner specialties: acute care, neonatal care, pediatrics, cardiology, family health, women’s health, or psychiatry.
- Extensive clinical experience in primary care is essential.
- Strong teamwork skills, positive attitude, and excellent communication abilities.
- Patience, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Enthusiasm for advancing knowledge and clinical expertise through research and professional development.
Skills
- Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting
- Urgent Care Experience
- Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices
- Primary Care experience
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ethics
- Team spirit with a positive attitude
- Patience and cool-headedness
- Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
- Valid nurse practitioner license
- Master’s degree; PhD is a plus
