QUICKmed Urgent Care is looking for a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner/Physician Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNP) are responsible for assessing the mental health status of patients by studying their relevant medical history, performing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, and identifying risk factors that might affect a patient's mental health.

Responsibilities
- Uses current evidence-based practice, research and clinical knowledge to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications.
- Conducts mental health histories and assessments.
- Formulates behavioral health treatment plan and manages acute and chronic mental health needs within Primary Care Mental Health model of care.
- Provide treatment to clients with drug/opioid addiction.
- Provide assessment and medication consultation for primary care and behavioral health providers at for patients with complex behavioral health, developmental, or substance disorders.
- Orders laboratory and other diagnostic tests and evaluates data obtainedSkills
- Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting
- Primary Care experience preferred
- Mental Health experience required.
- Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Excellent communication skills

- Patience and cool-headedness
- Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
- Valid nurse practitioner license (Ohio)
- Master’s degree; PhD is a plus
