Quickparts is looking for a CNC Machinist to support our CNC operations by assisting with basic machining tasks. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for performing fundamental machining operations, operating manual equipment as needed, and ensuring parts meet quality requirements through the use of measuring tools and gauges. This role plays a key part in maintaining a clean and orderly work area, following job-related instructions, and helping Quickparts deliver exceptional on-demand manufacturing solutions.
In This Role, You Will:
- Operate various manual equipment as required
- Use appropriate measuring tools and gauges to inspect parts
- Read basic prints and follow job instructions
- Perform job-related duties as needed and maintain a clean, orderly work area
- Adhere to company policies and guidelines
- Collaborate effectively with team members
- Communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats
- Follow safety standards and report any injuries or incidents promptly
You Might Be a Good Fit If You Have/are:
- Up to six months of relevant machining experience or a technical school certification (preferred)
- A high school diploma or equivalent (required); technical school or equivalent (preferred)
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work with others cooperatively
- Comfortable standing, stooping, and bending for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally
