The role of an Operations Supervisor is to oversee, lead, support, and provide guidance and feedback to the Operation.
Oversight
- Ensure Ops staff follow policies and procedures
- Keep Management informed on issues and problems
- Supervise Ops staff's break and lunch times to ensure timeliness
Dispatch Support
- Birddog the dispatch boards throughout the day
- Train new dispatchers, retrain as needed
- Review boards for efficiency and timeliness
- Step in to help when dispatchers are overwhelmed
- Support dispatchers to make proper decisions
- Watch boards during breaks and lunches
- Live Ticket Auditing
Customer Service Support
- Customer Service birddogging
- Train new Customer Service team members, retrain as needed
- Listen to and audit incoming and outgoing calls
- Mojo follow up and auditing
- Anticipate escalation and take over calls when needed
Additional Administrative Tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Transportation experience
- Prior dispatching experience
- Customer service experience with great people skills needed
- Strong knowledge of the Denver Metro and surrounding areas
- Must have excellent verbal skills while communicating in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent attendance record
- Proficient PC skills - will use windows-based software
- Typing - 34 words per minute minimum
- Problem resolution skills
- Positive attitude is a must
- Must be able to pass a Federal and County Criminal Background Check
