We are seeking a versatile and driven Office Manager to join our clients' leadership team and play a key role in supporting day-to-day business functions. This individual will work closely with the Director of Operations and ownership to ensure smooth, efficient, and effective operations across departments. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, people-oriented, and ready to wear multiple hats in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support daily business operations and office activities
- Directs the team based on leadership strategic direction. Collaborates closely with Director of Operations/GM to lead administrative processes
- Motivates staff through positive feedback; and provides coaching and development when required.
- Trains and evaluates new employees
- Support HR functions including conflict resolution, employee onboarding, and compliance
- Design and implement procedures to improve profitability
- Learn and utilize JobBoss software to enter job orders, generate reports, and coordinate with production
- Assist with customer and regulatory surveys and documentation
- Use Excel to manage reports, analyze data, and support operational planning
- Participate in end-of-day closing procedures and facility lock-up
- Be highly adaptable and capable of switching between tasks and priorities as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office or operations management within a manufacturing environment
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel preferred
- Exposure to JobBoss or other ERP systems preferred
- HR experience required (conflict mediation, hiring support, compliance)
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable in a hands-on role that involves wearing many hats
- Ability to hold team members accountable for their performance
- Bachelors degree in management, business, or related field
