Warehouse Manager
Responsible for the operations and personnel of the company’s warehouse and distribution facility. The role’s primary function is to ensure smooth, safe operations of the facility while ensuring timely cable production and fulfillment of customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. This position includes administrative and warehouse duties along with customer service and supervisory skills. Additional duties include training and motivating facility team.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- 100% quality control on cable production and shipments
- Intelligent and efficient production
- 99.5% accurate inventory counts
- Manage all facility staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols (e.g., use of required PPE); conduct monthly safety meetings
Effectively interact with other departments cross functionally to ensure on time delivery of quality products. For example, effective communication and teamwork with:
- Production line supervisor, on quality control and priorities between orders and stock
- Production scheduler, on scheduling and manufacturing items to both maintaining sufficient stock and fill non-stock orders
- HR manager, on employee relations, performance management, staffing requirements, interviewing, hiring, disciplining and firing
- Fulfillment team members, to efficiently prioritize tasks and produce accurate and on-time orders
- Purchasing, keeping assembly components at adequate levels
- Sales, on coordination of orders and ship dates
- Administration, on significant issues or concerns
- Approve weekly timecards, schedule staff, and approve PTO requests, ensuring adequate coverage is maintained.
- Ensure that the facility and equipment are secure and maintained in peak condition.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous experience working in a distribution center preferred.
- Must possess visual acuity to read shipping and documents and labeling.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, with varying responsibilities and work areas, using spoken and written English.
- Ability to work under demanding time constraints and production goals.
- Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel) critical.
- Order processing software experience preferred.
- Forklift operation experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to seventy (70) pounds.
- Must be able to stand, bend and lift for up to ten (10) hours or more per day.
- Willing and able to work in a partially air-conditioned warehouse environment
Salary: Salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, depending upon experience.
