What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Design Engineer - Water/Wastewater position at Quiddity?
As a part of the Quiddity team, your work will make a difference. Our EITs have the opportunity to assist with the structural design and management of a variety of civil engineering projects. As part of our team, you will learn leadership skills from experienced engineers who will provide both mentorship and guidance while performing structural designs.
Responsibilities:
- Design of structures for municipal water and wastewater facilities.
- Review project specifications, manufacturer submittals, local standards and codes.
- Reviews work for discrepancies or inconsistencies, adjusts and correlates data, and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes to completion under the guidance of an experienced engineer.
- Supports mid and senior level engineers.
- Prepare drawings for building department permits and construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus or a related engineering or science field;
- FE required to advance Engineer-In-Training designation – must be completed within 12 months of hire date;
- Structural design experience in municipal water and wastewater facilities preferred.
- Valid TX driver’s license and insurable driving record.
