The Role
As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking an IT Analyst – Product Lifecycle Management and Change Control and Document Management. The principal accountability of this position is to assist with the process support / definition / configuration, verification, and deployment, across QuidelOrtho Operations (Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering). This position is ideally suited to a self-motivated individual, capable of operating with a minimal level of supervision.
This position will be working in a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite in Rochester, NY.

No strenuous physical activity, though occasional light lifting of files and related materials is required. 30% of time in meetings, working with team, or talking on the phone, 70% of the time at the desk on computer, doing analytical work. Minimal travel required. Travel includes airplane, automobile travel and overnight hotel.
Physical Demands
Occasional light lifting of PCs and related materials is required. Ability to lift up to 30lbs and walking between offices for meetings. Travel by car, airplane or train up to 10% - domestically with overnight stay in hotel.
Salary Transparency
The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 and is bonus eligible. The Position
- Act as a subject matter expert supporting the business in aspects and Change Control and Document Management within the Product Lifecycle management system (PLM Windchill). This role will provide expert support to QuidelOrtho enterprise, helping to evolve global processes and operating standards managed within the PLM framework.
- Work within the Information Technology (IT) Business Field’s team to help define, configure, verify, deploy, and support PLM hosted processes used to support QuidelOrtho Operations (Manufacturing, Quality and Product Development and Implementation, Change and Document Management).
- Assist business partners with documenting business needs and adjusting to be supported by Windchill.
- Provide systems documentation and testing as required by the QuidelOrtho System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process, including architecture and application technical specifications, systems and data related verification plans / procedures / records / reports, administrative procedures, and others.
- Participate in data analysis, cleanup, migration, and verification activities.
- Serve as a liaison to QuidelOrtho IT team members to advise on approached for PLM systems configuration and deployment.
- Assist with change management pertaining to the PLM system.
- Address PLM application incidents and requests submitted by users through the QuidelOrtho Service Now application and other methods.
- Provide off hours and on call support when requested to support key activities such as system go-lives, data migrations, and other special circumstances.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree with course work in engineering, science, or technology, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated competence with PLM systems deployment and process integration.
- Experience with agile operating frameworks (examples: Microsoft Azure DevOps, JIRA).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with product development, release, and change processes.
- Experience in a regulated business environment (examples: aerospace, automotive, medical/pharma).
- Basic understanding of database concepts (objects, attributes, relationships, etc.) with some experience with SQL*Server or Oracle databases (queries, reports, views, etc.).
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office tools - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with querying / reporting data to provide metrics, dashboards, tracking and trending.
- Experience with developing Systems Development Lifecycle related documentation and verification test records pertaining to application configurations and functionality.
- Experience with data migration and data verification.
- Excellent communications skills in both written and verbal form.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to motivate others, and a customer-focused service attitude.
- Comfortable working with managers, developers, technologies, and business partners; the ability to work with others at all levels of the company, both technical and non-technical.
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically.
