Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Guest Service Agent to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle various guest inquiries efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a warm, friendly check-in experience.
- Manage front desk operations including reservations, guest inquiries, and check-out procedures.
- Sales and marketing in luxury hospitality is a preference as you will be selling spa and wellness to our guests
- Handle guest relations by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of resort amenities, services, and local to assist guests effectively and boost sales and guest experience
- Utilize phone systems to manage incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Be willing to multi task to assist as needed in guest relations, kitchen and food assistance and keeping the hotel clean and presentable to guests
Skills
- Strong background in customer service with a focus on guest services in a hospitality environment.
- operations and night audit procedures.
- Excellent sales skills and knowlege of a high end clientele
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with phone systems and reservation software is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all interactions with guests.
