Job Summary
The Hotel Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the our 11 room hotel in the Sequoia National Forest, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service and hospitality. This role involves managing staff, budgeting, and implementing policies to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. We are looking for someone who understands a small boutique hotel and is willing to assist us with running every area of the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Supervise hotel team , including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Run guest services, front desk operation and guest services
- Ensure smooth operations during all shifts, including overseeing the night audit process.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest relations and satisfaction.
- Manage budgeting processes, including forecasting revenue and controlling expenses.
- Monitor hotel performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for necessary services and supplies.
- Train and mentor staff to foster a positive work environment and promote professional development.
- Assist with food preparation, and maintenance tasks
Skills
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in front desk operations and night audit procedures.
- Excellent communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to manage budgets effectively and analyze financial reports.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of hospitality management best practices and trends in the industry.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.

Pay: $39,003.00 - $39,902.00 per year
