Quiet Village Landscaping is seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join our award-winning design team. This role will take the lead on designing and overseeing the creation of beautiful, functional, and sustainable outdoor spaces for residential and commercial clients.
Skill Set & Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
- Licensed Landscape Architect in Missouri or Illinois (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in landscape architecture
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong plant knowledge and commitment to sustainable design practices
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Detail-oriented with strong project management abilities
- Valid driver’s license and insurability under company policy
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead client consultations and design meetings
- Develop comprehensive landscape designs and construction documents
- Create detailed planting plans and material specifications
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Oversee project installations and ensure design intent is executed
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress
- Stay current with industry trends and sustainable practices
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to conduct on-site visits in varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
