Summary:
The Media Director leads and manages multiple offline-focused accounts, driving performance-centric media strategies, touchpoint planning, and activation to maximize client success. This role demands deep expertise in offline performance media, overseeing a cross-functional team across Planning, Investment, Activation, Traffic, and Data & Analytics to optimize results. In addition to strategic leadership and execution, the Media Director is responsible for client relationships, team performance, and ensuring the highest quality of work output, fostering collaboration and innovation to drive measurable success.

Core Accountabilities:
- Serve as the key client relationship manager, deeply understanding clients’ performance marketing objectives and developing media strategies that not only meet but exceed their goals
- Oversee the execution of performance-driven media campaigns (offline and online, with heavy focus on DRTV), ensuring seamless coordination across teams, alignment with client KPIs, and the successful delivery of high-impact results.
- Identify and address performance challenges, proactively collaborating with team to optimize media plans to deliver measurable business impact
- Bring big-picture media marketplace thinking to our capabilities, ensuring holistic, data-driven, and performance-focused media strategies
- Stay ahead of industry trends to integrate cutting-edge performance media innovations that drive maximum efficiency and ROI
- Mentor, manage, and empower a high-performing media team, ensuring alignment with client performance KPIs and on-time, high-quality execution
- Oversee the development and execution of media strategies, negotiations, and activation, ensuring that every campaign delivers measurable performance outcomes
- Leverage a combination of historical data, marketplace trends, and consumer insights to shape strategic media recommendations that drive continuous improvement.
- Write detailed, thought-leadership POVs and white papers on emerging media trends, evolving technology, and shifting consumer behaviors, ensuring we remain at the forefront of performance-driven media
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and energy, ensuring the team is engaged, motivated, and driven to deliver outstanding performance media results
Academic/Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years’ media-agency experience with at least five years of experience successfully managing and leading performance media teams to deliver results for brands
- Proven track record of managing offline performance campaigns
- Experience managing large marketing budgets and ROI optimization
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, problem-solving skills, and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills, ability to review online marketing results on a daily basis and, based on these results, to make quick decisions on canceling channels and bringing on new channels to achieve goals
- Ability to create presentation decks with a strong storytelling foundation
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong eye for detail; must be accurate, organized and possess follow-through skills
- Be a strategic thinker who is organized and proactively solution-oriented
- Commitment to responding to client communication within a short window
- Adept at following legal regulations governing categories, data policies, and confidentiality
