We are currently seeking an experienced Fuel Transport Driver with an excellent driving record. The right candidate will have a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and 1 year of tractor / trailer driving experience. Our drivers enjoy the generous compensation and the excellent benefits package we offer.
General Description :
Operate trailer tanker.
Transport cargo to and from specified destinations.
Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely and safe service.
Loads and unloads secure cargo according to federal and state regulations.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Job Specifications :
A. Knowledge / Education / Experience Required :
Must be licensed to operate a tractor-trailer with a class A CDL with HAZMAT / tanker endorsements.
Must have a stable work history with the ability to provide valid names, addresses, and phone numbers of previous employers.
Must be at least 25 years of age.
Current MVR (less than two weeks old) must include no more than two (2) moving violations within the past three (3) years; no DUI / DWI or reckless driving violations within the past seven (7) years.
Must pass a DOT physical and NIDA drug and alcohol screen and meet all other DOT requirements established for drivers.
B. Abilities Required (work characteristics, behaviors, etc.) :
Must be able to perform all duties required to load and unload products.
Must be able to perform pre-trip inspections of equipment.
C. Physical Requirements :
Climbing in and out of truck many times during the day to load and unload fuel.
Unloading fuel involves physically lifting and handling 3 and 4" hoses, which may weigh up to 40 lbs.
Handling activities include excessive pulling, lifting and pushing. Good back, shoulder, and arm movement is required.
