Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Turret Punch Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining turret punch press machines to produce high-quality metal parts according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate turret punch press machines to perform punching, notching, and forming operations on metal sheets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machine settings and specifications.
- Load and unload materials onto the machine, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations from specifications and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
