Stockroom Associate

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain an organized stockroom area.
Bin organization (clearly identified part numbers, description, etc.)
Inventory properly stored in bins and overflow easily identified)
Daily trash removal
- Inventory Movement
Ensure all inventory movement is documented
Assist purchasing department in maintaining adequate stock levels
When requires, review work orders or MOs for material requirements
- Materials received damaged from vendor or from production employees
Keep these items clearly segregated for resolution and documentation
Submit proper paperwork to relieve inventory
- UPS and Vendor Receiving
Receive, inspect, document, and store inventory and supplies
Review purchase order documentation vs. packaging list and items received
- Assist with Parts Department packaging and shipping when necessary
- Follow all company safety rules.
- Operate forklift as necessary.
- Participate in shop cleaning schedule.
- Serve as back-up to other functions as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Basic computer skills, Microsoft and ERP.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions.
- Ability to become forklift certified, training and certification provided by company.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
Shop Conditions:
- Non-air conditioned shop (proper ventilation exists)
- Lifting, bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing on ladders
- Busy shop with loud machinery
