What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the Quill Planning Team to drive forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and process improvements.
- Develop and execute demand planning strategies to support cross-category operations, ensuring seamless SKU selection, deployment, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with Merchants, Analytics, and Inventory teams to implement best practices and maintain planning alignment.
- Manage forecasting processes, clarify ambiguity, and develop solutions to adapt to market changes.
- Oversee FC Deployment strategy for all Quill SKUs, ensuring proper replenishment and inventory balance.
- Analyze demand trends, identify risks/opportunities, and implement data-driven decision-making.
- Lead a team of 2-3 planners, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Support ad hoc projects and analytical initiatives to drive operational efficiency.
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic business recommendations.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Merchants, Analysts, and Supply Chain teams.
- Knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of managerial experience in forecasting, demand planning, or inventory management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
- Experience with JDA, MMS, WMS, or similar inventory planning systems.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Experience in supply chain optimization, process improvement, or Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of retail or B2B inventory planning processes.
