Custodial and Facilities Maintenance Coordinator – Plano

Position will maintain cleanliness in all our Plano, TX facilities. Duties include but are not limited to:

duties and responsibilities

· Vacuuming, mopping and sweeping floors

· Collecting and disposing of trash in all common areas and personal cubicles and offices

· Collecting of all recyclables

· Maintaining cleanliness and supply levels in all company restroom facilities

· Maintaining rodent control actions at Plano facility

· Ordering of custodial supplies and maintaining appropriate inventory levels at all facilities

· Periodic washing of interior windows

· Periodic cleaning of lighting receptacles at Plano

· Periodic dusting of cubicle walls and office spaces

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Ability to work independently and with little supervision

· High school diploma or GED Certification

· 3 to 5 years of custodial experience

knowledge skills, and abilities

· Ability to run small cleaning appliances such as vacuum cleaner, floor scrubber and floor polisher

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a limited basis

· Ability to climb ladders up to 8 feet in height

· Familiar with SDS and appropriate use of PPE when working with cleaning chemicals

Work conditions and physical effort

· Work is normally performed in a typical office environment

· Well-lit work areas, ambient room temperatures

· Traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment

· Occasionally required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, taste or smell. Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
