Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Consumer Loan Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of support duties related to the processing of consumer loan applications and the delivery of lending products and services to our members. You will need to have a thorough understanding of the credit union's Consumer Lending Policies and Procedures, as well as a strong grasp of all banking systems and software applications relevant to the position.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Resolve issues with titles using various methods until the issues are completely corrected.
  • Work on consumer loans as assigned by loan officers. Perform loan servicing duties including processing all consumer loans, E Oscar, reporting, and maintenance in Velocity. Execute administrative duties with high accuracy.
  • Handle projects and special assignments within the consumer lending department. These projects can range from short-term (one day) to long-term (several months).
  • Order and coordinate reviews of required due diligence items such as credit reports, OFAC checks, appraisals, environmental reports, flood certificates, insurance certificates and/or binders, UCC filings, etc.
  • Serve as a secondary relationship contact for customers within the Member Business-Commercial portfolios. Respond to telephone inquiries and assist customers with problem resolution, walk-in coverage, and general questions regarding commercial loan products and services, including loan advances.
  • Assist the residential loan servicing team as needed.

Requirements:
  • Thorough understanding of Consumer Lending Policies and Procedures.
  • Proficiency in banking systems and relevant software applications.
