CERTIFIED SUBSTITUTE PROCESS
- APPLICATION: Complete online application for certified substitute
- ROE CERTIFICATION: Contact Regional Office of Education (277-2080) for details (requires 4 year degree)
- NEW HIRE PACKET: Complete new hire packet with HR which includes new hire employee documents, background check, and Faith's Law
- CERTIFIED SUBSTITUTE PAY SCALE:
- Day 1-20 $115 per day
- Day 21-60 $125 per day
- Day 61 $145 per day
- Long-Term Certified Sub Pay $155 (Long-term is anything after 10 consecutive full days of subbing in the same classroom on a consecutive basis.)
- Any absence while subbing in a long-term role would need to be preapproved by the building principal and communicated with HR to continue the long-term rate.
