SUMMARY :
The position of Para-educator I works under the supervision of the
certificated teacher and other staff personnel to assist in accomplishing the goals and objectives
of the instructional program. Typically, in the general education or TBIP / language intervention classroom.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Experience in supporting diverse student needs academically at the elementary / middle and / or high school level classrooms.
- Develop plans, materials, and activities for students under the direction of the certificated
teacher.

180-259 Day Employees- Paid leave benefits to include 10 sick days, 10 paid holidays, and 3 personal leave days.
260 Day Employee-Paid leave benefits to include a minimum of 12 sick days, 13 paid holiday and 3 personal leave days and a minimum of 10 days' vacation after the first year.
