The Quindlen Law Firm is a boutique firm dedicated to providing military members and residents of the Low Country of South Carolina with outstanding legal services. Our practice areas include family law, military law, criminal law and general litigation. As the first point of contact for our firm, the Receptionist / Legal Assistant position is one of critical importance. Key responsibilities include :
- Answering all phone calls and forwarding appropriately
- Managing client intake calls
- Assisting with conflict checks
- Performing daily courthouse deliveries / pick ups
- Assisting with file maintenance
- Monitoring attorney email traffic, forwarding and / or disseminating information appropriately
- Supporting the paralegal team by drafting basic legal documents
- Supporting the Office Manager with financial reclamation
- Managing and maintaining organization of the lobby and conference areas
- Managing attorney calendars by scheduling meetings, client visits, company events
- Collecting and sorting correspondence and packages
Our preferred candidate will possess a professional demeanor complete with excellent communication skills and the ability to not only work independently but to also collaborate as part of a team. The successful candidate will be dependable, motivated, organized and able to problem solve in stressful situations. Familiarity with Rocket Matter, Dropbox and MS365 preferred.
