The primary responsibility of the Employee Development Assistant is to provide support to the Director of Employee Development & Success and potentially other Executives in the organization. The majority of the support is administrative in nature with the overall goal of promoting effective and efficient operations in the Employee Development Department.
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must provide an up to date resume and a cover letter expressing interest in the position. There is also a minimum of 3 years of direct HR experience required, SHRM or HRCI certifications preferred.
This position is a Monday - Friday position, qualifies for Group Health Insurance, Aflac, Dental & Vision, PTO, 401(k), and many more company specific perks! Wage is DOE.
Essential Job Functions:
• Coordinating New Hire Orientation and various other meetings/training sessions
• Benefits Administration
• PTO Tracking
• Filing
• I-9’s Coordination
• Data entry in HRIS system (BambooHR)
• Develop/post content in the Employee Development section of company intranet
• Assistance with Recruiting
• Stuff paystubs bi-weekly
• Manage uniforms/name tags
• Rewards & Recognition program/Assistance with celebration coordination
• Other Employee Development related tasks as position evolves
Minimum Qualifications:
• Verifiable experience working in HR - 3 years minimum
• Prefer SHRM or HRCI certification
Skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Effective organizational and time management skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects
• Proficient with or have the ability to quickly learn computer applications necessary for the position (OS, BambooHR)
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
Abilities:
• Ability to go up and down stairs on a regular basis
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Lifting up to 25 lbs on occasion
