What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Morning Server - Harwood House position at Quinn's Hot Springs?
The historic Harwood House at Quinn's Hot Springs Resort is looking for experienced Servers. The recipient of multiple awards on Distinctly Montana's 2022,23, and 2024 list including Best Date Spot, Best Wine List, and a Finalist Best Fine Dining, we are definitely a desired dining destination!

We currently have openings for an experienced morning server - this is a part time position, 3-4 shifts per week.
- Morning 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Candidates must be able to work all the required shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Tasks/Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Greeting guests quickly and pleasantly, taking food and beverage orders, entering them in the POS accurately.
- Gathering and communicating special needs to chef and others as needed.
- Providing prompt and attentive service by making sure drinks are filled, food is delivered promptly, empty plates are cleared, and regularly ensuring guest needs are taken care of.
- Addressing customer service issues and communicating with management as needed.
- Familiarizing yourself with the entire menu and having the ability to explain the dishes and ingredients to guests, making recommendations based off of customer requests.
- Communicating with support staff such as runners and hosts to ensure guest needs are being met, tables are being cleared in a timely manner, and tables are being sat and greeted in a timely manner.
- Always following all food safety and cleanliness rules and regulations.
- Completing shift side work - rolling silverware, restocking supplies, etc.
- Candidates must take required certifications within established timeframe (Alcohol Training and Food Service Training).

Experience:
- Previous experience as server is required for this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Capable of being physically active for long periods of time.
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to balance trays containing food and beverages.
- Ability to regularly bend, stoop, lean, and twist your body.
