Job Title: Java AWS Lead Developer
Location:- Hybrid role- Houston, TX Onsite 4 days a week
Responsibilities:
Provide prompt and effective technical support to customers via various channels such as email, phone, or ticketing system.
Troubleshoot and debug issues encountered in Java applications running on AWS infrastructure.
Assist users with configuring, optimizing, and monitoring AWS services including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, DevOps, and QA to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and best practices for internal and external knowledge sharing.
Proactively identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to products, services, or processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
Own deployment tasks on lower environment
Requirements:
Proven experience in a technical support role providing L2 and L3 support, preferably supporting Java Spring, Microservices based applications deployed on AWS with Cassandra database.
Proficiency in Java Spring programming and experience of working on Microservices and understanding of Java application development concepts.
Strong working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch. Experience with Cassandra NoSQL database administration, including data modeling, query optimization, and cluster management.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Hands on working exposure on ticketing tools like ServiceNow and Jira is good to have
ITIL certification is good to have.
AWS certification(s) would be a plus.
