What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oracle Developer - AWS-SQL position at Quinnox?
Oracle DBE with AWS
● Database development to support database schema/data/PL/SQL migrations
● Expertise in PL/SQL, collections and object oriented PL/SQL and SQL coding, tuning, and
troubleshooting in all major versions of Oracle including 19c
● Expertise in Data Modeling concepts and Database design
● Experience in data and schema migration techniques and tools
● Experience with Application Development Support
● Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL coding standards and best practices
● SQL and PL/SQL code performance tuning knowledge
● Strong skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and find solutions to solving them
independently in a timely manner
● Expertise in performance tuning of backend systems
● The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
● Excellent knowledge of Database Performance monitoring
● Exceptional understanding about Oracle Advance queuing concepts.
● Strong knowledge of AWS and AWS DB services including RDS, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis Streams,
Lambda.
Preferred Skills
● Exposure to Public clouds including AWS
● Experience with developing Unix/Linux/WIN Bat/Powershell scripts.
● Oracle, PostgreSQL and other database certifications are preferred.
● Proven experience of working in development projects
● Good end to end understanding of dev SDLC
● Experience of working in Agile Scrum
● Good communication skills.
● Prior experience of working in a US client facing role preferred.
