What You Will Do
- Conduct in-depth profitability analysis, including product lines, service offerings, and business units, to identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization.
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess the impact of strategic decisions and market changes on profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations that enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare and deliver reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and strategic recommendations.
- Serve as a mentor to team members, fostering their technical and professional development by sharing expertise and offering guidance on complex analyses.
- Independently manage assigned projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights and recommendations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive benchmarks, and best practices in profitability analysis and financial planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5 years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on profitability analysis, cost modeling, or business performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of using data to inform strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to non-financial audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior team members is a plus.
