What are the responsibilities and job description for the Destination Host & Travel Planner position at Quintess Collection?
The Destination Host supports the operations team in providing hosting, travel planning and concierge services for all guests.
The Destination Host manages all aspects of the residence or residences in their care, including but not limited to hosting, housekeeping, and coordination of any repair and maintenance.
The position is remote, work from home, but you must live in the Gatlinburg/Smoky Mountain areas.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinates and provides guests with personalized services throughout the reservation, planning, arrival and departure stages of their vacation experience.
Provides pre-arrival planning assistance as requested.
Provides timely, anticipatory in-person contact at arrival/welcome and departure.
Monitors and inspects the physical property on an on-going basis to ensure all areas are in good working order, clean and well maintained.
Conducts departure inventories and orders supplies as needed.
Works with and abides by Homeowner’s Association (HOA) Rules and Regulations for the property, all laws and regulations of the City, State and Federal authorities in the destination.
The individual must function in a multi-tasking environment able to talk, analyze, problem solve, navigate computer screen and deliver product/service information while effectively communicating with team members and General Manager for the destination.
To perform this job successfully the candidate must be outgoing, confident, service oriented, friendly, approachable, able to establish a positive rapport with guests.
One (1) to two (2) years of experience in hospitality or hotel services, guest relations or concierge agent preferred. Prior vacation rental hosting preferred.
