Responsibilities
- Safely operate a van to transport goods to various locations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Follow designated routes while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Van Driver or similar role, with a strong understanding of route driving.
- Ability to load and unload cargo efficiently, with experience in heavy lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
