What You'll Do:
- Engineer custom broadband solutions - Design and present tailored connectivity options, leveraging Metro Ethernet, DIA, satellite, and microwave technologies.
- Build strong client relationships - Understand customer needs and deliver innovative, scalable solutions that drive success.
- Lead technical presentations & demos - Showcase Quintillion's broadband capabilities through engaging presentations and hands-on demonstrations.
- Support pre-sales & post-sales processes - From detailed proposals and RFPs to ensuring smooth deployment, you'll be a trusted technical advisor every step of the way.
- Stay ahead of industry trends - Monitor emerging technologies and bring fresh insights to shape the future of broadband in Alaska.
What We're Looking For:
- Expertise in broadband technologies - Deep knowledge of Metro Ethernet, satellite (LEO/GEO), microwave (licensed/unlicensed), and network design.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Sales engineering experience - 3 years in technical sales, solutions engineering, or network design, preferably in wholesale broadband.
- Problem-solving mindset - You love tackling complex challenges and turning them into practical, client-focused solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills - Ability to explain highly technical concepts to both engineers and business leaders.
- Tech-savvy & analytical - Proficient in productivity tools, Visio, , MS Office Suite, and network analysis tools.
Bonus points if you have:
- Hands-on broadband installation or network testing experience.
- Knowledge of Alaska's unique broadband landscape and connectivity challenges.
- Familiarity with wireless spectrum management & licensing.
- Experience and understanding of the telecommunications ecosystem on the oil and gas infield.
