Essential duties and Responsibilities:
• Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with essential stakeholders and decision-makers to enhance strategic partnerships and business opportunities.
• Assist in maintenance of the integrity of the "source of truth" for data
• Design, execute, analyze and report KPIs covering different functional parts of the business
• Steer the Quirch Foods team—including sales, operations, logistics, marketing, purchasing, and merchandising—towards strategic engagement and business growth.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, forecast future outcomes, and support strategic decisions.
• Monitor financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with budgets and forecasts.
• Evaluate and assist with the implementation of strategic initiatives, providing financial and strategic support to departments.
• Direct and manage the department's operations, establishing clear goals and objectives to ensure optimal financial performance and departmental productivity.
• Contribute actively to the implementation of modifications in procedures, policies, and systems to support the business's growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and enable effective scaling.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape to inform financial strategies and planning.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA or BA preferred.
• 5 years of financial management experience.
• Extensive understanding of financial trends.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
• Proven strategic thinking and business acumen.
• Expertise in financial software and systems, including advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
• Nice to have, advanced proficiency in business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Demonstrated experience in utilizing these tools for data visualization, analytics, and generating actionable insights for strategic decision-making
