There is an opportunity to begin a career at the best dealership group! Quirk Buick GMC is seeking an experienced heavy- duty mechanic for our busy Service Department. Quirk Auto has opportunities for inspired and motivated individuals who have the desire and passion to succeed. Compensation will be based on experience, however, we are always willing to train the right candidate!

Job Duties include :

Using Diagnostic Equipment and Special Service tools to test vehicle components
Test driving heavy-duty vehicles for diagnosis and repair verification
Diagnosing heavy-duty vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical, air conditioning, etc
Providing the Service Advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs needed

Job Requirements :

Minimum 1 year experience working on vehicles over minimum 10,000lb GVW, over 26,000lb GVW preferred

Establish and maintain relationships with customers

Assess individual client needs and think of innovative ways to get results

Experience in managing and organizing work time and work related activities

Excellent interpersonal skills

A positive attitude

Strong willingness to learn

Part Time - eligible to participate in Quirk's 401k plan after youve reached your waiting period.
