Immigration Trial Attorney
Salary: $100,000-$130,000.00 a year

The Quiroga Law Office PLLC was founded in 2009. Our mission is to stand with bravery next to as many immigrants as possible to fight and protect their ability to live, work, and thrive in the United States. We are a law firm for immigrants by immigrants. We represent clients nation-wide and focus on issues around asylum, citizenship, family immigration, nonimmigrant visas, deportation defense, temporary protection status, green cards, waivers and consular processing.
We provide advice and representation not only to individuals, but also to businesses on all family-based visa scenarios, green cards, and various state and federal filings. Basically put – we’re all about immigration.

Your New Role
The ideal candidate must be committed to advocating for client’s rights and have a strong desire to help change people’s lives. This is a leadership position. You will have the following accountabilities:
Demonstrate expertise in writing complex motions and appellate briefs.
Extensive legal research and proficiency in crafting persuasive briefs and motions.
Effective management of writing briefs concurrently.
Ensuring timely execution of case development.

Qualifications
- Applicants must possess a J.D. degree from a School of Law accredited by the American Bar Association
- Must be an active member in good standing of the bar of a state, territory of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
- At least 5 years of experience post J.D. relevant to trial and court experience.
- Strong legal research and writing skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong familiarity with legal research databases.
- Proficient writer with the ability to appropriately apply case law.
- Persuasiveness and reasoned judgement.
- Complex case management skills.
- Experience in immigration/appellate law is highly desired, but no required.
- Experience appearing in court and arguing motions.
- A writing sample consisting of legal brief or comparable legal writing authored by the applicant is required.
