Parts Clerk / Driver (Union) – Sylmar, CA

Quixote Studios is one of the nation’s premier film and television studios and is looking for a full-time Parts Clerk / Driver (Union) to join our Sun Valley Fleet Service team! This position will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading, unloading, delivering, and pick-up duties for the facility. The ideal candidate must be safety minded with exceptional customer service skills.

What You’ll Do :

• Accurately and efficiently pull and stage material orders from paperwork, in an organized manner.
• Deliver and pick-up material for warehouse stock and custom order items for trailers.
• Load and unload trucks and safely strap-off cargo following all proper lifting, pushing, and pulling techniques.
• Work with technicians in the check-out and check-in process of warehouse items.
• Receive items from vendors and add items to the correct warehouse location.
• Create stock checks and short lists to maintain accurate inventory counts.
• Communicate customer / technician requests, order changes, and / or paperwork specifications to a member of the management team.
• Work effectively as a member of a team and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with employees, suppliers, customers.
• Assist in general housekeeping of warehouse and display area.
• Safely operate lift gates and material handling equipment (forklift) to load, unload, or put away equipment.
• Accurately and thoroughly complete all paperwork.
• Follow delivery route instructions to ensure on-time delivery of equipment to the warehouse.
• Immediately report any issues / problems with vehicles to a member of the management team
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and work area.
• Operate vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, following all state and DOT regulations at all times.
• Complete all tasks in a safe manner.
• All other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions :

The role is based in a manufacturing plant where safety, cleanliness, and noise control are prioritized. Regular use of safety gear is required, and employees must comply with all health and safety protocols. Activities include regularly working in outside weather conditions, exposure to extremes of temperature, visibility, wet and / or humid conditions and vibrations.

Heavy work : requires ability to lift, twist and carry up to 50 pounds and manipulate (pushing, pulling) up to 160 pounds of product, et cetera.

Compensation :

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements and this role’s Collective Bargaining Agreement, the pay rate this position is $25.20 per hour.
