The Paint Technician is responsible for inspecting, preparing, blending, and finishing of vehicle surfaces using proven paint techniques.
Job Requirements:
Applies paint to vehicle parts after repair work is complete
Covers vehicle parts that do not require painting
Buffs or cleans surfaces after the paint dries
Requests necessary materials
Performs paint jobs efficiently and according to collision center guidelines
Maintains CSI at or above company standards
Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area
Participate in required training
Demonstrates the company’s core values
Complies with company policies and procedures
Observe all federal, state, local, and company safety rules and regulations
Skills, Qualifications, & Requirements:
3 plus years of auto painting experience
I-Car Certifications preferred
Vision abilities, including close distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Ability to effectively communicate with others
Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates, and work orders
Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-paced environments
At least 18 years of age
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel and pull
Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to complete or inspect repairs
Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 80lbs)
Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate equipment
Standing, sitting, and walking
Performing repetitive motions
