Job Description
The bartender will be responsible for assisting guests with friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment. This includes making craft cocktails, creating memorable experiences, and maintaining a clean and tidy working environment. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following below.
Responsibilities
- Create a wide variety of craft cocktails with precision
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable guest experience
- Comply with certification requirements as applicable to position to include Alcohol Awareness, Food Handlers, Safety, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Follow check ringing procedures. Each transaction must be rung in immediately after the order is placed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Uphold Lot 12’s standards of excellence and hospitality
- Be familiar with the operation of the P.O.S. system.
- Always ask patrons of questionable age for proper identification.
- Assist with maintaining beverage cost.
- Perform opening and closing side work according to hotel standards to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
- Prepare beverages according to the company’s mixing, portion control and presentation standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience, preferably in a craft cocktail setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to get along well with others
- Long hours sometimes required.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude
- Minimum age to serve food and beverages.
- Unexpired Alcohol Awareness Certification and Food Handlers Certifications are required.
