The Product & Technical Operations Director at Quorum will play a pivotal role in the continued growth of our innovative Ad tech business. Assuming accountability for driving the growth, direction, and management of the product as well as technical client oversight, the Product Director would operate at the forefront of technology service provision in the location-based space. This role will be a blend of strong technical, data science and business interactions.
As the leader of the Product team for Quorum, this role will take personal responsibility for spearheading the operational, technical and strategic management of the product roadmap and process, working both internally and externally to ensure robust product features and execution against client needs. Strong experience with data science and analytics is required as well as a flair for problem solving and experience in scaling a business and building a team is of utmost importance in this role. Expect to get your hands dirty as you build, lead, and execute a nascent product team.
The right candidate will have a strong understanding of the online advertising space, with a deep emphasis upon CTV, location-based/OOH and programmatic knowledge. Working knowledge of ad tech metrics as well as SQL, Python and hands-on API integration experience is essnetial. With strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills and proven experience managing development teams as well as strong experience understanding customer needs, a proven background in project management is considered critical for this role.
The Product Director will be expected to provide leadership, direction, mentoring and the appropriate supporting organizational structure to ensure continued growth and success both internally and with client expansion. Working closely with engineering, client services, operations, and sales the role is also expected to liaise closely with Senior Management to plan, prioritize and execute a product roadmap and vision. The candidate would have an aptitude for some travel and ability to work with multiple teams, over multiple time zones and cultures. The role will initially report to the CEO.
This role will be either in-office in Burlington, VT or a hybrid role in New York City.
Primary Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Engage and work closely with a team of engineers to develop and execute upon product roadmaps and to provide guidance and validation during development and testing.
- Map feature requirements and business needs to establish and prioritize roadmap for both external and internal stakeholders.
- Validate product direction by interacting with customers, internal stakeholders, and industry constituents, to better analyze both market and product trends.
- Interact with clients to understand needs and deliver technical solutions and implementations to drive their growth and success with Quorum.
- Work with cross functional teams - including sales, account management, operations, and finance to develop and bring the product to market.
- Monitor product adoption, proactively identifying opportunities and making actionable recommendations to drive product uptake and effectiveness.
- Analyze and report on key trends, performance, prospective status and future needs of Demand Partners to executive and internal teams as required.
Experience and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 7 years of experience in the online advertising industry in a product or operations role.
- Strong understanding and experience with ad tech metrics, including familiarity with attribution windows, lift metrics, etc.
- Experience working with data science products and working knowledge of SQL and Python.
- Working knowledge and familiarity with programmatic media, CTV, OOH, and Location-based media technologies is considered essential.
- Strong data analysis skills and experience; ability to provide clear and concise evaluations and actionable insights from the analysis of complex datasets. A love of problem solving through data.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record interfacing closely with development and client services team.
- Experience working directly with clients in a technical or operational role to deliver results in a professional and timely manner.
- Desire to deliver a top-notch customer experience; strong consultative skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fun, and entrepreneurial environment; flexibility in working across cultures.

Salary : $135,000 - $195,000
