YOUR SCHEDULE

Your exact schedule varies, but you work between these times:

• 11:00 am to 12:00 am, Sunday through Wednesday
• 11:00 am to 2:00 am, Thursday through Saturday

YOUR DAY

As our Bar Manager, you set the tone for successful days and cultivate a fun, vibrant atmosphere that keeps guests coming back and empowers hospitality staff to grow and improve. You're a hands-on leader who assists with daily operations and creates new strategies for guiding long-term success. By analyzing our processes, you identify areas for improvement and implement new administrative, purchasing, and personnel policies. You're a role model for your team, demonstrating "people first" service and ensuring our high standards are always upheld.

Daily Duties

• Warmly greet guests, make eye contact, and create a friendly and inviting atmosphere
• Oversee cleaning and food safety duties and ensure hygiene standards are met
• Provide great customer service, troubleshoot POS issues, and solve any problems that come up
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are thoroughly completed
• Maintain a clean and organized bar with fully functioning equipment
• Recognize employee contributions, assist staff, and manage schedules
• Cover open positions as needed

Big-Picture Management Functions

• Onboard and train new employees
• Support the growth of bartending staff by assessing training needs and creating effective new programs
• Lead weekly management meetings, facilitate open discussion among hospitality team members, and support company goals
• Analyze restaurant processes and execute strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity
• Compare menu prices against item costs and make adjustments to raise profits
• Create new marketing strategies to attract more business
• Oversee environmental management and sustainability programs
• Manage event bookings and catering services

BAR MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 years of serving, bartending, or casual fine dining restaurant experience
• TABC license
• Mixology skills
