We have a full time HR Advisor role. You will be site based Quotient Sciences, Garnet Valley, PA.

Summary of job purpose

You will operate as part of the HR / People Team to support human resources activities.

Responsible for the deployment and effectiveness of a broad range of defined Human Resources processes within Quotient Sciences.

Work with managers and colleagues to resolve queries and embed a positive colleague experience.

Qualifications and experience required for competent performance

  • Strong HR advisor with some experience of dealing with a wide variety of employee issues
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Strong organisational, problem solving, communication and follow up skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of contributing to HR project activities including HRIS continuous improvement projects would be advantageous
  • Previous experience of using Dayforce HRIS

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of workforce information in human resource information systems (Dayforce).
  • Handle day to day colleague queries and act as the first point of contact for the team.
  • Initiate new hire on boarding activities such as background screening inclusive of drug screening, employment reference verification and criminal record verification.
  • Raising offer letters and contracts of employment, reference requests etc
  • Managing the starter and leaver processes.
  • Support recruitment process, leading onboarding activities and local inductions.
  • Supports the compilation of monthly reports.
  • Assists in managing administration of and adherence to human resources policies and procedures; advises on compliance with key legislative requirements.
  • Participates in performance management activities including employee development planning.
  • Participates in training activities and special projects.
  • Data Analytics : Interprets information relying on knowledge and functional frameworks, and leverages including analytical problem-solving tools to draw conclusions and communicate meaningful patterns that drive insights; assesses quality of data as an initial step of the analysis.
  • Administration of the human resource management system / s including identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and administration and maintenance of employee records.
  • Maintain and develop process and work instruction documents, to continually improve all key processes.
  • Assists in resolution of conflicts and provides assistance in preparing for coaching on employment matters.
  • Assists in conducting and documenting investigations.
  • Supporting the payroll process as needed, including inputting data and liaison with the payroll provider.
  • Supports the administration of the benefits management activities in the US region.
  • In addition, there will be the opportunity to support regional / Global People initiatives as we continue to develop our ways of working, underpinned by digitizing and focusing on colleague experience.
