This is a hybrid position located in the Minneapolis / Twin Cities office.

What The Sales Engineer - IT/Security Does Each Day
- Complete IT and information security questionaries and RFPs for prospects and customers
- Present to prospect and customer IT and security teams during the sales process
- Translate technical knowledge into easy-to-consume messaging appropriate for sales environments
- Review contracts with prospects to ensure they address security, confidentiality, and privacy requirements
- Assist in turnover from sales to customer success and implementation teams
- Collect market and product feedback from the sales process for use in advancing product roadmaps, go-to-market strategy, and corporate information security posture
- Has a sense of urgency, accountability and resourcefulness
- Is a self-starter and independent learner
- Promotes active listening with team members; contributes appropriately to conversations; strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with other departments within the organization and with people at all levels of the organization
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology or business field; or equivalent industry experience
- 2 years’ experience in a technical sales environment
- Solid understanding of the fundamentals of information security and software hosting infrastructure
- Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
