Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join our team in Pharmaceutical Operations. This role will be responsible for supervising all Quality Assurance (QA) aspects of compounding pharmaceuticals for compliance within the facility. The successful candidate will oversee failure and discrepancy investigations, develop and implement corrective actions, and maintain QA records associated with internal and external testing.
About the Role:
- Supervise Quality Assurance staff on assigned shift
- Oversight of the environmental monitoring program, including escalation of results that exceed alert or action limits
- Responsible for timely and accurate disposition of finished product to assure each batch meets specification prior to release
- Maintain compliance with FDA 503B and cGMP guidelines / state and federal laws
- Assist in developing policies and procedures related to QA
Requirements:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of supervisory or management experience required
- 2 years' experience in Quality Assurance / cGMP / FDA regulated industry
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
