We are looking for a creative and innovative Sign Designer/Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating highway and street signs, using a graphic design software. Once signs are designed using the computer software they will be printed and created on aluminum and other surfaces. The ideal candidate will have strong communcation skills, speak with customers and take sign orders. Also will be responsible for some yard duties. This includes but not limited to, using forklift to unload orders off trucks, using chop saw to cut sign posts to specfic lenghths, unloading and loading customers.
Responsibilities:
- Create and design highway/street signs according to the MUTCD standards.
- Taking customers orders through the phone or in person.
- Responsible for some yard duties.
- Order supplies from our suppliers.
- Unloading and loading customers
- Taking inventory off all supplies and products within the facility.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
