Yard Assistant
Summary :
R-2 Contractors is looking for a full-time yard assistant to join our team! We are looking to add a hardworking, highly motivated team member to our busy, rapidly growing yard. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter who is able to handle a multitude of tasks. Working hours are typically 6 am- 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
Note : This job is physically demanding and requires heavy lifting. Must have ability to climb onto equipment & trailers.
Responsibilities :
- Able to load & move heavy equipment safety
- Knowledgeable with correctly & safely chaining down equipment
- Positive, coachable attitude & excellent work ethics
- Change out semi trucks & trailers to accommodate load requirements
- Help with various duties around the shop & yard including washing / cleaning equipment
- Communication with logistics for load needs
