Job Title: Laborer/Equipment Operator

Job Responsibilities:
Perform tasks involving physical labor to assist in the completion of septic systems, site work, driveway repairs & upgrades, shoreline stabilization, land clearing projects and many more.
-Operating hand and power tools of all types (Example: Air hammers, earth tampers, chain saw, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments).
-Operate skid steers, loaders, excavators, etc. as needed.
-Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers.
-Drive company vehicles to transport other workers, pick up supplies, deliver items, and in winter plow and sand roads and driveways.
*SOME Nights & Weekends (Mostly during snow storms)
Desired Skills / Experience:
-Knowledge of the materials and tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, septic systems, buildings or other structures such as driveways and roads.
-Basic knowledge of tools and equipment.
-Customer service: Understanding how to interact with customers politely and positively to insure their experience with the company is a good one.
-Exceptional work ethic

-Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely
-Ability to operate necessary tools and equipment safely and with good hand-eye coordination
-Ability to follow all requirements / procedures for safe work, company security, environmental protection, and loss control.
-Ability to learn to interpret drawings
-Ability to listen to and remember instructions
-Fluent in English, oral and written
-Drivers License (Class C)
Hours Per Week: 40 - 50
Description of Benefits:

Price Range for Pay: $20-$25 / hour, dependent upon skills and experience
