What You’ll Do:
As a Clinical Therapist at R&C Consulting Group, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming lives through compassionate, evidence-based mental health and substance abuse treatment. You’ll work directly with individuals, families, and communities—providing therapy, clinical assessments, crisis intervention, and case management services in an outpatient setting.

Your leadership will also support internal clinical teams and strengthen community relationships as we continue to grow our footprint across North and South Carolina.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality clinical services including assessments, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, crisis counseling, and education in alignment with North Carolina Mental Health and Substance Abuse Standards.
- Evaluate client and family systems, identify functional strengths and challenges, and develop tailored treatment strategies.
- Collaborate across teams and with external partners to ensure continuity of care, support referrals, and build long-term partnerships.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and case records in compliance with regulatory and agency standards.
- Facilitate aftercare planning and manage caseloads proactively, including expeditious discharge of inactive clients.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide emergency services as needed.
- Act as a liaison between clinical staff, leadership, and the Board of Directors when appropriate.
- Represent R&C in community settings, supporting outreach, stakeholder relationships, and risk management alongside the Clinical Director.
- Demonstrate our mission and values in every client interaction, staff collaboration, and public engagement.
- Consistently promote a culture of excellence, ethics, and equity throughout clinical operations.
Who You Are:
- A licensed clinical professional with deep compassion and strong clinical instincts. You know how to meet clients where they are and guide them toward wellness with integrity and empathy.
- You’re an expert in delivering therapeutic interventions and are confident navigating the complex needs of diverse populations.
- You are highly organized, responsive, and driven by outcomes—not just for your clients, but for the success of the broader team.
- You thrive in environments where teamwork, transparency, and trauma-informed care are the standard.
- You’re not only clinically skilled—you’re a builder. A bridge. A professional ready to grow with an agency that’s expanding its reach and impact.
What You Bring:
Education & Licensure:
- Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field required
- Current North Carolina licensure: LCSW, LCSWA, LMHP, or LMHP-A
Experience:
- At least 4 years in behavioral health, mental health, or substance abuse services
- Experience in upper-level management within a multifaceted human service organization
- Proven success in managing both fiscal and programmatic budgets
Skills:
- Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, Best Practices, and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership, delegation, and communication skills
