Northeast Field Safety Representative/ Driver Recruiter

Moore, Inc., a leading 3PL company involved in Trucking, Warehousing and Brokerage, is seeking a full-time Field Safety Representative/ Driver Recruiter to join our dynamic team at our Poland/Scarborough, ME location. Summary

The Field Safety Representative/Driver Recruiter is responsible for effectively onboarding new drivers in the Northeast Region while also being responsible for driver safety and compliance that covers industry and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform driver and Owner/Operator steps in qualifying to ensure criteria and standards are upheld.
• Assist in collecting market data for driver’s in the Northeast Region.
• Utilize various sourcing methods to identify potential candidates, including social media, job boards, networking events, and referrals for Company Local, Regional, Long haul CDL Driver’s and Independent Contracted Drivers.
• Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to build a robust talent pipeline.
• Conduct candidate screenings and schedule in person interviews to assess qualifications and fit for specific roles.
• Enforce safety policy and procedures through engagement and continued education and development.
• Respond to Safety related incidents and conduct investigations to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct new driver training and annual, or as needed, refresher training, including Hours of Service Compliance parts 395.
• Conduct and maintain all driver education programs.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years in Safety, Compliance, Training, Driver Recruitment or related field, preferably within the transportation industry
• Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and tools, including Boolean search and social media platforms and job boards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience recruiting in logistics or warehousing industry strongly preferred
• Class A CDL a plus but not a requirement

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
