We are seeking an experienced Carpenter , who will be performing construction-related activities, which may include operating a variety of hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will be dependable, trustworthy, results driven, hard-working and be able to demonstrate extraordinary attention to safety, the discipline to work independently, as well as work collaboratively with the R. C. Stevens Team Members and Customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Constructs, erects, installs, repairs, finishes walls, drywall and building framework using hand and power tools, while conforming to local building codes
- Interprets blueprints, sketches, or building plans in preparation of layout to determine dimensions and type of material required
- Capable of demolition and installation of ceilings, painting, carpeting, tile, and other miscellaneous finishes independently or as part of a team
- Smooths and finishes surfaces of poured concrete using a variety of hand and power tools including floats, trowels, and screeds
- Ability to work non-standard hours on occasion
- Embrace a “Whatever it Takes” attitude
- Other duties, as may be required
