We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Röchling Automotive. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying savings initiatives within the commodity and driving prioritized initiatives.
You will verify that RFQ documentation is accurate and complete, allowing suppliers to provide accurate quotations and build to specifications.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of economics, both domestic and worldwide; world situations, and political issues.
This position requires a polished, professional maturity with strong communication skills in both oral and written modes.
A 4-year degree is preferred, but HS Diploma or GED plus applicable experience is required.
Responsibilities
- IDentify savings initiatives within the commodity and drive prioritized initiatives
- Verify that RFQ documentation is accurate and complete
- Select vendors to procure requisitioned commodities, meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality
- Analyze quotes to determine best value and recommend solutions
- Enable competition, including potential opportunities from BCC sourcing
