Key Account Manager
Where we need you
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Calls on management representatives such as engineers, purchasing managers, or other professional and technical personnel at existing and potential customers to convince prospective client of desirability and practicability of products or services offered.
- Consults with existing and potential clients to assess and understand equipment needs and systems requirements.
- Reviews drawings, plans and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates or projected increases in production from client's use of proposed equipment or service.
- Develops and maintains relationships with key contacts with prospective and existing customers.
- Development of quotes and contracts for new business.
- Prepares preliminary analysis of potential opportunity for review with RMR Director of Sales and Marketing during opportunity review meetings.
- Identifies leads and individuals to contact and makes contact based on business model of company. Utilizes CRM system for account details and activity
- Creates and furnishes management reports to include financial information and relevant sales activities
- Fully understands the capabilities of the company and eloquently communicates company's capabilities and resources to customers.
- Establishes timely schedule of visits to customers, attends medical meetings and tradeshows, and identifies select opportunities based on company business model.
- Provides timely responses to customer questions, concerns and product needs, and follows up regularly to assure customer satisfaction and continued communication.
- Interfaces regularly with customer and the project team to assure that product/process development solutions meet customer needs.
- Evaluates, analyzes and makes recommendations periodically on products, designs and cost improvements which might improve the competitive position of the company.
- Evaluates and performs technical analysis of competitive products while remaining well educated and
- informed on changes in the company's marketplace. Reports regularly on management on market trends, competition and customer feedback.
- Provides support to management on product presentations and any customer issues.
